"At my 6 week check up after I had my first child, my OBGYN decided the best way to bring up the topic of birth control was to ask me sarcastically when I was planning on having my next child... as if I was being irresponsible just by not immediately jumping back onto something postpartum.

When I responded that there wasn't currently an urgent need for birth control because no one was going anywhere near my vagina... you guessed it... he kindly reminded me that my husband probably needed access sooner than later."
